Title: Slade House
I really admire the writing style, and the way the book was put together. I’d give the writing style a 7 out of 10, definitely.
The characters were portrayed very well, I did like that. When you dislike a character, or really like one, you know you’ve got a good author.
I’d give the characters 10 out of 10.
The plot was good, but I think it could have been unravelled a little more clearly, because things only really become clear at the end. Which is the usual thing to expect from a book, but it’s just confusing until the end.
I’d give the plot a 10 out of 10 for originality and a 5 out of 10 for the unravelling.
I’m not really satisfied with the ending. I don’t feel that it concludes everything sufficiently.
I’d give the ending a 3 out of 10.
All of its reviews say it’s ‘chilling’ and ‘creepy’ but I didn’t really find it that scary, in fact not even remotely scary. Haunting, maybe? Something to think about, yeah, but not scary.
1 out of 10 for the scariness.

My Overall Review:
I don’t regret reading it, I enjoyed it, but I didn’t like the end. I’d recommend you reading it if you wanted to read something different from your usual reading material.
