The Waiting

I love you in your fire as it twists and turns

Even though it is only me it truly burns

You will soon be ashes in an urn

I am forced to look away

They said you’d be gone forever and a day

So here I will stay

They will smoke

I will choke,

And continue wearing my pain as a cloak

You are mine

Just give it time

I read the sign

It hurt what it said:

You are dead

So I left you some bread

It was left to decay

On the coldness of your grave

And I will never be saved

Now I lie under cold stone

Damp earth and heavy wood

I am alone

And what was it worth

Waiting for you did me no good.

~ Bluebell Rizzi

Ugh, I still have a horrid cough and I’m so tired, but I’m feeling far better than I was. Illness really gives you a new gratitude for being able to walk, eat, and talk. Silver lining, and all that.

This was just a weird, random thing I wrote after reading this article, which I really recommend you look at! It’s a little love story told in beautiful pictures… and nowhere near as dark as my little… thing up above. Haha, hope you enjoy ^ ^

By the way, if anything seems off, I did this on my phone, which involved a lot of cursing and phone dropping, so that’s probably why! I’ll fix the formatting stuff on my laptop at some point ^ ^

Over and out, for now…
