Prologue

She was born in the city of London, to parents that killed themselves in a deliberate car crash, with their six year old child in the backseat. Their child survived, and was cut out of the mangled car by firemen. Glass from the windscreen left her blind in her right eye. She had a case of serious Retrograde Amnesia, and remembered only one thing – her name: Ashley.

The newly orphaned girl spent twenty nights in the hospital before being put in a group foster home. After a year and a half in the group foster home, she was adopted, at seven years and six months, by a young couple in their early thirties. They fought to keep her, but her social worker took her back, and put her in the group foster home again. After another year, at eleven years old, she finally got taken into her permanent home, with a two women of thirty-one years.
