A single tear escapes from my eye
Alone in the dark, cold
No one to hold me
I think of those people
The ones that have crushes
The ones who have lovers
Those that love each other but don’t see
It’s not right to live that way
So I speak as someone with no one
What are you afraid of?
What have you got to lose?
What the hell are you waiting for?
If I had someone, I would
Ask that girl out, kiss that guy
And thank your lucky stars you’re not someone who wishes for love every night
And never, ever gets it
And don’t do it for me
Do it for you
It could be the best thing you’ll ever do.

Bitter, I know 😀
We all get those low moments, late at night when we should be sleeping. I watched a film called Last Night, which I love, but also hate. It makes me pretty angry, but sometimes it’s good to watch stuff that makes me angry. Therapeutic, in a way.
So I’m not short of loving family and amazing friends, but I think at some point we all crave a different love, and as I have no ticket to that world right now, I get very bitter sometimes, hence the poem 😉
I mean it, though. What have you got to lose?
