Butterfly Dream

And in the darkness
I let my heart roar
Reaching out my hands
So they can touch yours
You can have my heart forever
In bittersweet darkness I’ll remember
The flowers tangled in your hair
A snowflake on an eyelash
When my soul is dragged away
Kicking and screaming
And thrown into a cave
I promise you
I’ll find my way back to you
But before you speak
Look for the light in my eyes
Or you may as well chat with thin air
You are worth more than all the riches
This world could ever offer
If I hurt you, leave
Because I would rather die
Than be responsible
Tor the tears
On your perfect face, that I love so well.
