Golden Oldies: Poem Five

Hello and welcome to the fifth poem in my Golden Oldies series! ^ ^

I wrote this one when I was eleven, in a rare moment of optimism 😀 I think it might have been a song? But it was in the poems category, so I won’t question it 😀

I’m shining
Shining in my strength
Living in a dazzling light
All of my own
They see me glow
They come running
They hear me shout out loud
They come running
I tell them what the world’s about
Yeah you’ll hear us shout
We’ll show you the world
Come tell us what you’re all about
