Bliss

Love in the mist

Bliss

Don’t let me go

When I say I should go home

Ask me to stay

And lace your fingers with mine

Give me that soft kiss

The one that makes me love you more

But if you really want me to stay

Then put your arms around me

And hold me against your chest

The place where I feel so safe

All my fears melt away

While the sound of your voice

And that steady heartbeat

Can lull me into a dreamless sleep

So I wake up the next day

To see your peaceful face

Then I’ll whisper to the rising sun

“This is bliss.”
