Trickery

Trickery

Boy, you’re a symphony

Carved upon my skin

A silky web

Wrapped around my soul

Sing your song

Reeling me in

I won’t struggle; in your arms

Trace my jaw with soft fingertips

My forbidden love

Pull me closer

I’m not scared of the light in your eyes

Are you scared of mine?

Whisper, whisper

Hot breath on cold skin

Serpents, moving in

Ready to strike

We’re playing the same game

No rules, just winners

Tricks and surprises

But we’re evenly matched

Who will fall first?

Well, who knows?

  1. An enticement into your web, but I hope not with the ending where the spider eats the mate 🙂 I liked the playful element in this at the end to follow the affection and enticement expressed earlier. Lovely 🙂 🙂
