Despondent
/dɪˈspɒnd(ə)nt/
adjective
adjective: despondent
in low spirits from loss of hope or courage.
I sleep when I don’t wish to live
The time passes and I feel no loss
Curled up here I can forget
Every past regret
When I sleep I can escape this world
Which is all I want
I snuggle into my pillow and smile
My bed never lets me down
I don’t have the energy
To participate in my life
There’s no point to anything
No reason to get up
I’m hibernating
I am numb so I sleep
What they never tell you about sanity
Is that it’s hard to keep.

Hey everyone 🙂
Don’t let this poem worry you, I wrote this a while ago when I was in a rut, which I am no longer in for the time being ^ ^
Hope you’re all okay ❤
Sometimes sadness and beauty are much like each other
Thanks for sharing
